Sékou Koné to depart Manchester United on loan | OneFootball

Sékou Koné (19), who has yet to make his debut for the Manchester United first-team, is set to leave on loan before the end of the transfer window, according to a report from Marc Mechenoua. 

Koné joined Manchester United for a nominal fee back in 2024, however, whilst he has regularly featured for the club’s youth sides, he has yet to make his debut for the first team. And he doesn’t look like making that breakthrough yet. 

Consequently, he is now expected to spend the latter half of the season out on loan at one of Manchester United’s partner clubs, FC Laussane Sport. The midfielder is expected to be loaned to the Swiss side until the end of the season. 

Mechenoua even reports that Koné has been training with Laussane Sport in recent days ahead of the formalisation of the loan move. Only administrative formalities stand in the way of the officialisation.
