An exciting talent is bound to end-up at Liverpool and become the club's next transfer.
The beauty (and curse) about football is that we are always looking ahead. There's always another game, another moment, another goal, another player to replace someone old and another transfer window.

As a sporting director, Richard Hughes' job is to prepare the Reds for these eventualities in the market. When he looks at Liverpool's squad, he's not just looking at who is in form in the present moment but he's assessing the bigger picture.
Hughes will already be looking at his potential next steps, and one of the first priorities on his agenda will be to replace a key part of the squad who left last summer and whose role wasn't really filled.
When Harvey Elliott departed on the final day of the window, it came as a surprise. Liverpool were reluctant to sell the England U21 international.
Yet, in the end, they agreed. Even more surprising was the fact that they didn't bring in a replacement. Some fans will be hoping that's because Hughes has his eyes on Morgan Rogers.
But he could actually have his eye on someone else.
Given how abruptly the window ended, Hughes will be exploring the market for an Elliott replacement and currently there is an obvious solution emerging at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Liverpool scouts are already keeping a close eye on Can Uzun. He's someone who is extremely highly regarded and the kind of player who could in fact be the perfect option to replace Elliott in this Liverpool squad.
Uzun has scored in all four of Frankfurt's games in the Bundesliga this season. In all competitions, he has five goals and three assists in just six appearances for the German side.
Playing as an attacking midfielder, Uzun has become a revelation for Frankfurt, replacing the output of Hugo Ekitike and very much helping the fans forget about the Liverpool forward's departure.
Uzun plays with a great level of intensity. He reads the game very well, and he's excellent at finding pockets of space in the opposition's final third.
His technical ability is second to none. As is his link-up play. Uzun is simply a generational talent. He's only 19-years-old and this is the kind of player Liverpool know they simply have to snap up before someone else in the Premier League does.

Given there is a vacancy in the role after Elliott's departure this move just feels inevitable. It feels like Uzun's destiny is to become Liverpool's next transfer.
Especially because he isn't just an attacking midfielder. He can play out wide when he needs to and he's also played as a false nine in the past.
So, he'd give Slot extra options in his arsenal and elevate Liverpool to even higher levels.
Having him in the team would feel like a luxury, but the best teams are stacked with talent. Real Madrid and PSG can call upon so many players, and that's where Liverpool aspire to be as well.
So, Uzun must be the next man on Hughes' agenda. Among other things, of course.
