Igor Tudor has two enforced changes to make, while Cristian Chivu has a fully fit and available squad to choose from for the first Derby d’Italia of the season, as Juventus host Inter in the weekend’s headline fixture on Saturday afternoon.
Serie A action resumes following the recent international break with Cagliari-Parma at 14.00 BST on Saturday afternoon, and will be followed by the Juventus-Inter clash at 17.00. Saturday’s action will conclude with Fiorentina-Napoli at 19.45 BST.
Juventus will have to do without the suspended Andrea Cambiaso against Inter, which could bring a first start of the season for the versatile Weston McKennie.
Francisco Conceicao picked up an injury during the break and was forced to withdraw from the Portugal national team camp, so he is also not expected to feature against Inter. He had played alongside Kenan Yildiz in the dual-trequartista roles for the first two games of the season, but that duty is now expected to be handed over to Teun Koopmeiners.

Sky Sport Italia claims that Dusan Vlahovic is in line to earn his first start of the 2025-26 season after scoring off the bench in both of his first two appearances, which will come at the expense of new signing Jonathan David, who has started at centre-forward in both of the last two gameweeks.
Chivu is expected to name a slightly more familiar-looking Inter side for the Derby d’Italia. There could, however, be a full debut for deadline day signing Manuel Akanji at centre-back.
Official: Inter sign Manuel Akanji from Manchester City.
Pre-match reports suggest that Carlos Augusto could start at left wing-back over Federico Dimarco, while Petar Sucic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are competing for the same spot in midfield alongside expected starters Nicolo Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu.
To little surprise, Marcus Thuram is expected to partner captain Lautaro Martinez at centre-forward.
Juventus (3-4-2-1): Di Gregorio; Gatti, Bremer, Kelly; Kalulu, Locatelli, Thuram, McKennie; Koopmeiners, Yildiz; Vlahovic.
Inter (3-5-2): Sommer; Akanji, Acerbi, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, C.Augusto; Thuram, L.Martinez.
