Seven Wolves players will feature at the 2026 World Cup across the USA, Canada and Mexico, which starts next week.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, Joao Gomes, Andre, Yerson Mosquera and Enso Gonzalez missed out, though Gomes made Brazil's 55-man list but not the final 26.

Ladislav Krejci will captain Czechia after scoring twice in the play-offs, opening against South Korea in Guadalajara on June 12. Hwang Hee-chan contests his third World Cup.

Jose Sa is again selected with Portugal. They play Congo DR on June 17 and Uzbekistan on June 23 in Houston, then Colombia in Miami on June 28. He is the only current Wolves player in their squad.

Santi Bueno heads to his first World Cup with Uruguay, opening against Saudi Arabia in Miami on June 15. David Moller Wolfe features in Norway's first finals since 1998 under Stale Solbakken, starting against Iraq in Boston on June 16.

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde will debut at a World Cup with Haiti, who begin against Scotland in Boston on June 14. Sasa Kalajdzic arrives after a double with LASK, with Austria facing Argentina on June 22 in Dallas and Algeria on June 28, when he is likely to face former Wolves defender Rayan Ait-Nouri.
