Sheffield Wednesday have already completed seven signings in this transfer window
Sheffield Wednesday are in the middle of an extremely busy transfer window following the takeover of the club by Arise Capital.
The Owls are rebuilding their first team squad after suffering relegation to League One under Henrik Pedersen.
New sporting director, Simon Wilson, is working alongside the Danish coach to add both quality and depth to the team after a difficult last 12 months.
The Yorkshire outfit initially secured the signings of Callum Slattery, Ricardo Santos and Jordi Liongola, but have since added Harry Gray on loan.
Barry Bannan has also returned to the club, with Louie Barry and Sil Swinkels also joining the first team squad.
Sheffield Wednesday will be hoping to conclude more business between now and the 1 September deadline, as they look to get back to a competitive level.

According to The Star, there could be as many 20 fresh faces at Sheffield Wednesday by the conclusion of the transfer market.
The players are already back in training for pre-season, and the new signings already through the door are taking part as the club prepares for life in League One.
But their transfer business is far from done at this stage, with the Yorkshire outfit targeting as many as another dozen additions.
It’s believed that Joe Lumley could be the next signing for the first team squad, with the goalkeeper likely to come in as a replacement for Pierce Charles.
The 20-year-old is closing in on a deal to sign for Manchester City, and he is set to be loaned out to QPR for the campaign ahead.
Meanwhile, other departures are also expected, with Svante Ingelsson already making the switch to Stoke City.
However, a deal for Archie Collins is not thought to be on the cards at this stage, despite reports linking him with a move to Hillsborough.
This will come as a boost to Huddersfield Town, who have also been credited with an interest in the 26-year-old following his exit from Peterborough United.
The likes of Millwall, Portsmouth, Oxford United and Watford are all also in the race for his signature.
But Sheffield Wednesday are believed to be turning their attention to other targets, with Davis Keillor-Dunn on their radar.
The transfer market will shut on 1 September, meaning there is still plenty of time remaining to conclude their other business.
Pedersen’s side will be back in competitive action on 15 August with a trip to face Leyton Orient.

Sheffield Wednesday’s squad at the end of the previous campaign was unlikely to compete well in League One, let alone in the Championship.
So this level of recruitment is necessary in order to get back to a competitive level, even if it will take some time for all of these fresh faces to gel together.
This is where the return of Bannan will be quite helpful, as his knowledge of the club should prove a great asset for players transitioning to life at Hillsborough.
A tally of 20 signings is a huge undertaking from the new owners, but fans will be encouraged that they are investing into the club, even if it may take a while to get back to where they want to be.
