Sidny Lopes Cabral close to €10m Trabzonspor move | OneFootball

Sidny Lopes Cabral is close to leaving Benfica for Trabzonspor, with only the player's approval pending.

The clubs have an understanding on a transfer valued at more than €10m. Record writes that the offer has been considered advantageous by Benfica.

Cabral joined Benfica from Estrela da Amadora last season, and the club were open to negotiating his exit.

Trabzonspor, third in last season's league in Türkiye, have tracked the versatile player for some time. Club officials travelled to Portugal aiming to finalise the deal before the World Cup begins.

Benfica have started assessing alternatives to strengthen the squad. Any signing should be announced once the required formalities are complete.

In 2025/26, across Estrela da Amadora and Benfica, Cabral, valued at €5m, made 28 appearances, 23 in Liga Portugal Betclic, two in the Champions League, two in the Taça de Portugal and one in the Taça da Liga. He logged 1,835 minutes, scoring six goals and providing six assists.
