Tottenham Hotspur entertained Manchester City at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier this evening as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. Spurs made a decent start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 11th minute when Rayan Cherki found the back of the net. Antoine Semenyo doubled his side’s advantage in the 44th minute as Thomas Frank’s players went into the half-time break 2-0 down on the scoreline.

Dominic Solanke scored Tottenham’s first goal in the 53rd minute before going on to score the leveller for them in the 70th minute. The match ended with Spurs securing a hard-fought 2-2 draw in front of their home fans.

He came back to defend when he could and made one promising run with the ball.

CM: Conor Gallagher – 7/10

Gallagher was a positive influence at both ends of the field and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

CM: Yves Bissouma – 5/10

He struggled to get a foothold in the game and made a poor error inside his half.

LM: Destiny Udogie – 6.5/10

Udogie performed his defensive duties well but lacked the cutting edge in the final third.

He was quiet for most of his time on the field.

Simons was a constant menace in the final third and ended the game with an assist to his name.
