Manchester United are preparing for yet another blockbuster summer transfer window on both the incoming and outgoing fronts.

INEOS have ample work to do if they want to give the next permanent manager the best opportunity of competing on all fronts in 2026/2027.

Who’s leaving United this summer transfer window?

First of all, the club will bid farewell to Jadon Sancho as soon as his contract expires in June, while Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund are expected to join Barcelona and Napoli, respectively, when their loans come to an end.

As a result, attacking reinforcements will be necessary if United are to be playing twice a week next season – ideally via the addition of Champions League football.

Sky Sports reporter Danyal Khan has revealed this afternoon that the Reds have shortlisted two firm targets in the lead-up to the summer window: RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande (19) and Everton’s Iliman Ndiaye (26).

INEOS begin targeting Diomande and Ndiaye

Both players’ clubs will be desperate to keep hold of them for the coming years, so it remains to be seen if United’s interest will prove too tempting for the wingers to reject.

Diomande is enjoying a scintillating maiden season with Leipzig following his £17 million switch from Leganes last July.

The teenage prospect has notched a hugely impressive 10 goals and seven assists in  26 Bundesliga appearances and 1,878 minutes of action, having now cemented himself as an undroppable starter under Ole Werner.

As for Ndiaye, he added to his tally for the campaign last weekend when sealing Everton’s emphatic 3-0 home win over Chelsea with a tremendous finish.

He is now on six goals and three assists in 25 appearances after missing a handful of club fixtures through his African Cup of Nations participation.

The 38-capped Senegal international also boasts plenty of experience in England through his Toffees tenure and stint with Sheffield United, which will appeal to INEOS, given how impactful Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha have been.
