Slegers wins Manager of the Month again as McCabe wins Goal of the Month | OneFootball

Renée Slegers has been named Barclays Manager of the Month for March, her second consecutive win, after guiding Arsenal Women to four wins from four.

The unbeaten run included dominant victories over Liverpool (4-0), Everton (3-1), and Crystal Palace (4-0), plus a dramatic 4-3 comeback against West Ham United.

Since taking charge in October 2024, Slegers has led Arsenal to more goals, clean sheets and points per game than any other WSL side. She now has three monthly awards this season, the most of any current manager.

Katie McCabe claimed the club’s Goal of the Month prize for her finish against West Ham, collecting 29% of the vote. Her angled strike kickstarted Arsenal’s comeback from 3–1 down. It is McCabe’s fourth Goal of the Month award for the club.

“I always try to do my bit for the team and it’s nice when it comes off like that. But it’s about the group. We showed great fight to come back in that match and that’s what it means to play for this club,” she said.

Arsenal remain in strong form with Champions League ambitions still alive.
