Arne Slot has revealed that Conor Bradley is set for a spell out with injury, while Florian Wirtz will also miss this weekend’s game.

Both have picked up muscle injuries and will miss out when the Reds host Forest at Anfield.

“Conor Bradley is not able to play and Florian Wirtz is not able to play,” the Liverpool boss said.

“That’s far from ideal.

“Both muscle injuries. I don’t expect Conor (Bradley) to be part of the upcoming 22 days, unless a miracle happens, which I don’t expect.

”Florian shouldn’t be that long.”

Jeremie Frimpong also remains sidelined for at least the next couple of weeks, meaning Slot has been left with a shortage of defenders, particularly at right-back.

“Jeremie is probably not going to be available in the upcoming two or three weeks as well so it’s going to be interesting who all of you want to see as a right-back,” he said.

But Liverpool have been handed a boost in the return of goalkeeper Alisson, who could be back in the squad on Saturday having returned to training following a hamstring injury.
