The summer transfer window is approaching.
Roma, awaiting the appointment of a new sporting director following the imminent separation from Massara, will be actively considering both incoming and outgoing transfers.
It’s not out of the question, in fact, that for Financial Fair Play reasons, at least one key player in the squad will have to be “sacrificed.”
The chosen candidate could be Soulé.
The Argentine, who arrived two seasons ago from Juventus, is popular with Emery’s Aston Villa.
According to SiamoLaRoma.it, however, Villa have not yet made any formal offer because they want to wait for the situation surrounding Roma’s next sporting director to be clarified.
Once Massara’s replacement is found, the matter will be further explored, but so far the Birmingham club has only made exploratory contacts. Soule, like Koné, is considered an excellent player by Gasperini, but the Mar del Plata talent is not unsellable.
Gasp would like to keep as many players as possible at Trigoria because he firmly believes the team needs to be strengthened, not rebuilt. However, the market dictates some changes.
