Seats have now been installed in the south east corner at the Vitality Stadium as redevelopment of the ground progresses.

According to Bournemouth Echo, only a handful were in for the visit of Lincoln and the area remained closed, but the full complement is now in place and an opening does not appear far away.

The roof structure has been erected, but it still needs to be filled in. Cladding at the back of the stand and work on the concourse beneath also remain outstanding.

A tunnel beneath the corner provides access to the pitch for ground staff. It will be used once the new south stand and all four corners are filled, as the existing access will no longer be available.

Liverpool visit Dean Court in eight days, and it has not been confirmed whether the corner will be open for that match.

The next scheduled home game for the men’s team after that is the Europa League visit of Sturm Graz. The corner will definitely be open for that fixture, as it will form part of the away end for European games.
