According to sources cited by Mundo Deportivo, the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) was caught off guard in recent hours by accusations from FC Barcelona. The Catalan club is blaming the federation for Lamine Yamal’s injury. The media reports that the Spanish prodigy showed no discomfort upon arrival or departure from the national team camp with La Roja, and the Blaugrana club had not reported any issues beforehand. Throughout the week, Yamal was reportedly in regular contact with the medical staff and never mentioned any injury or potential unavailability.

Additionally, one of the Spanish national team’s physiotherapists, who is also part of Barça’s staff, closely monitored the player’s condition. The only issue reported was minor back discomfort deemed insignificant. Meanwhile, the Catalan club and coach Hansi Flick have criticized Luis de la Fuente’s management of their number 10, accusing him of overplaying Yamal in lopsided matches against Bulgaria and Turkey.

To recap, Lamine Yamal is suffering from pubic discomfort. He could even miss the match against Newcastle next Thursday in the Champions League.
