We are looking for the sports photographers of tomorrow

This is your chance to enter the world of sports photography: promoting talent is a top priority for us in all areas, not just on the football pitch. Off the pitch we also want to give young people the opportunity to reach the next level while pursuing their passion.

That's why our newly created photo talent programme offers motivated young photographers (m/f/d) from the Salzburg area the unique opportunity to experience a Red Bulls' home game up close with their camera from the sidelines, while receiving professional support from our club photographers.

What you can look forward to on our sports photography talent programme

Photo accreditation for one of our Bundesliga home games in autumn 2025 – you'll be right in the thick of the action with your camera.
Mentoring from our club photographers – receive valuable tips, feedback and insights into the everyday life of professional sports photographers.
Provision of professional lenses.
Possible integration of your best images into club communications (after joint review and selection).
Long-term perspectives: the most promising talents will have the opportunity to be considered for future projects or assignments.

What you need

You already have some experience in (sports) photography.
You are confident in using digital image editing software (ideally Adobe Lightroom).
You live in the Salzburg area or in the immediate area.
You have your own basic camera equipment.
You are passionate about football and photography.
You enjoy working in a team and are highly committed, proactive and creative.
You are highly motivated and flexible in terms of time – working evenings and weekends is no problem for you.

How the sports photography talent programme works

Invitation to one of our Bundesliga home games in autumn 2025.
Joint preparation and get-together with our photo team before the game.
Professional support and assistance throughout the entire match day.
Debriefing, photo selection and feedback together with our experienced club photographers.

How to apply

Send us your application with the following documents by email to socialmedia@redbullsalzburg.at by 10 October 2025 at the latest.

1. Short letter of motivation (max. 1 page): Why do you want to be part of the sports photography talent programme? 2. A concise overview of your photography portfolio to date (5–10 images) and which camera system you currently use. 3. Details of your existing knowledge and previous experience with digital image editing programmes (with a focus on Adobe Lightroom). 4. CV with contact details and current place of residence.
