Stéphane Gilli named Angers head coach until 2028 | OneFootball

Angers have appointed Stéphane Gilli as head coach on a contract running to 30 June 2028.

The Ligue 1 coaching carousel moved again on Tuesday, a few hours after Lorient named Alexandre Dujeux as their head coach.

Gilli, 52, has been without a club since his dismissal by Paris FC in February. According to L'Équipe, he was Angers' primary target to replace Dujeux.

He previously worked as assistant to Vahid Halilhodzic with the Morocco national team.

Gilli also helped Paris FC win promotion to Ligue 1 in 2025.
