The STJD has moved to Friday at 10:30 the hearing into the half-time clash during Bahia 1-1 Corinthians, with possible sanctions for both clubs, Kaio César and referee Ramon Abatti Abel.
According to Meu Timao, the Pleno will assess charges filed by the tribunal’s prosecutor.
Corinthians are cited under CBJD articles 206, delay of kick-off or restart, fined R$ 1,000 per minute, and 257 for involvement in a brawl, though paragraph 3 exempts peacemakers.
Bahia face the same two articles and article 213, I, which holds hosts responsible for preventing disorder, punishable by fines from R$ 100 to R$ 100,000 and, in serious cases, loss of home matches.
Kaio César is charged under article 250 for unsporting or hostile conduct, specifically an off-the-ball push, and could be banned for one to three matches from the day after any ruling. The prosecutor argues he sparked the melee with a hostile move towards Alejo Véliz, but did not allege a strike due to lack of video proof.
Referee Ramon Abatti Abel is accused under article 266 of failing to record the incident in his report, an offence carrying a 30 to 360 day suspension plus fine.
The confrontation followed a touchline duel between Kaio César and Zé Guilherme, then Véliz confronted the forward and went to ground, triggering a wider melee involving players and staff.
Corinthians host Athletico-PR at 19:30 on Thursday in round 21, aiming to close on fifth-placed Bahia on 32 points, with the Timão on 28.
