Strasbourg complete stoppage-time turnaround at Lorient | OneFootball

Strasbourg beat Lorient 3-2 on Sunday at Stade du Moustoir - Yves Allainmat, scoring twice in second half stoppage time to overturn a two-goal deficit in a dramatic Ligue 1 comeback.

Noah Cadiou put Lorient ahead in the 26th minute, turning in Panos Katseris' corner from close range.

Mike Penders kept Le Racing in it with smart saves either side of the break, notably denying Bamba Dieng and Nathaniel Adjei as the hosts pressed for control.

After the restart, Arsène Kouassi won a penalty. VAR confirmed the spot kick and Pablo Pagis converted from the spot (54.).

Sebastian Nanasi halved the deficit with a high finish for Le Racing (62.).

Ten minutes were indicated for added time. Adjei then put through his own net in the second minute of second half stoppage time to level for Le Racing, before substitute Andrew Abiola Omobamidele struck the winner from a corner in the ninth minute of second half stoppage time.

Lorient registered 14 attempts with six on target and had 38.8% possession. Le Racing saw 61.2% of the ball and produced 11 attempts, five on target.
