Strasbourg interested in Birmingham City prospect | OneFootball

RC Strasbourg Alsace are staying true to their policy under BlueCo ownership, with the summer transfer window set to open. Since the arrival of the new owners, the Alsace club have targeted almost exclusively young players. Ben Chilwell is the exception to the rule, but his importance in the dressing room, it is reported, will bring a tweak to the policy.

But, by and large, the contours of the ‘project’ remain the same. Strasbourg are in the market for young talent again, and as per a report from L’Équipe, have their eyes set on versatile Birmigham City forward Aurelien Guernier (18). The Englishman, who has a French passport through his father, is out of contract with the EFL Championship club this summer.

Guernier has yet to feature with the first team, although he was included in a matchday squad for an EFL Championship game against QPR back in March. He could now be set for a move to Le Racing.
