Mykhailo Mudryk (25) has been suspended since December 2024, however, should he return, the Chelsea winger may make a move to RC Strasbourg Alsace, according to a report from L’Équipe.
The Ukraine international submitted a urine sample that tested positive for meldonium back in October 2024. At the time, the Chelsea winger said that he had “done nothing wrong”, adding that he hoped to be back on the pitch “soon”.
However, Mudryk has yet to return and when he does, it may not be at Stamford Bridge but rather at the Meinau, L’Equipe understands. There is a world in which he makes the move from Chelsea to Strasbourg, as so many players have done since the latter were purchased by BlueCo.
An English source cited a move to Le Racing as a “real possibility”. They added, “Mudryk would surely have the humility to accept the challenge after almost two years without playing, if he was offered a loan.”
In any case, there isn’t any prospect of a loan move happening between now and the end of the season, and the winger must still be cleared before making a return to professional football.
