Chelsea are ahead at Wembley, with Enzo Fernandez heading the ball in after leaping to beat two defenders on a counter.

Chelsea have the lead at Wembley! The Blues have grow into this game, and now have their reward.
Pascal Struijk clumsily gave the ball away in midfield while Leeds weren’t set defensively, and Chelsea pounced right away. Pedro Neto dashed away with the ball, and when he reached the byline chipped a cross up to the centre of the box.
There were a number of defenders around, but Enzo Fernandez had timed his run better than any of them and was on hand to leap above James Justin and head home in textbook style.
Enzo has always been good at finding those spaces and timing his runs like that, we’ve just not seen enough of it recently. He celebrated wildy, as you’d expect. It’s Chelsea first goal in any game since the start of April.

There’s a long way to go in this game, but we already are seeing a far higher level of commitment and performance than we have in recent weeks.
