Strasbourg to meet Wilfried Nancy as three-name shortlist takes shape | OneFootball

Strasbourg will hold talks with Wilfried Nancy on Monday across the Atlantic, with the club understood to have trimmed its shortlist to three.

Onze Mondial reports that Nancy features on that list. Strasbourg is owned by the American consortium BlueCo.

The 49-year-old French coach is a free agent and has worked in MLS with CF Montréal and Columbus Crew. He has already spoken this summer with several Ligue 1 clubs, including Lorient.

An initial exchange took place last week, and a face-to-face interview with BlueCo and Strasbourg executives is scheduled for Monday afternoon across the Atlantic.

The identities of the other two candidates have not yet emerged, and Strasbourg’s next coach should not be English. He will be required to speak English and French.
