‘Submitted A Written Offer’ – Club Make Push For Portsmouth Star | OneFootball

Polish side Widzew Lodz have ‘submitted a written offer’ in an attempt convince Portsmouth star Harvey Blair to move to Poland this summer.

Blair joined Pompey from Premier League giants Liverpool in the summer of 2024, regarded as a hugely promising prospect at Fratton Park.

He has clocked 28 outings for Portsmouth since his move, finding the back of the net once, and not managing to meet expectations yet.

Now Blair is in demand this summer and Polish top flight outfit Widzew Lodz have been making efforts to sign him.

The former Liverpool forward needs to be convinced about the move and the Polish side have now ‘submitted a written offer’ as they try to tempt him to join, according to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri.

They are not the only club chasing the Portsmouth player as he also has interest from Swiss side Servette and Hungarian club Ferencvaros.

What the terms are that are on offer from the Polish side are unclear, but they will be hoping they can see off the competition and sign the attacker.

The new Polish top flight campaign is now under way and Widzew Lodz currently sit in seventh, having picked up five points from their opening three matches.

Last term they finished a lowly 14th, clear of the drop zone by just four points.

Pompey are active in the market in terms of arrivals, having recently landed Abu Kamara, and Blair could well see a lack of game time if he stays put.

Portsmouth are also closing in on Ryan Kavuma-McQueen, following positive talks with Chelsea about taking him to Fratton Park.

Blair still has time to consider what to do and whether any of the clubs showing interest in signing him this summer represent an attractive next step at what is a crucial time in his career.
