Sunderland have reportedly joined Fulham and Brentford in pursuit of Trabzonspor midfielder Christ Inao Oulaï, valued at around £20 million. According to 225 Foot, the Premier League trio have tracked the 20-year-old Ivory Coast international after an eye-catching debut season in Türkiye.
The report adds the clubs have watched him closely and already contacted his agent, while other teams are also monitoring the situation. Oulaï is viewed as one of Trabzonspor’s standout performers this season.
The Ivorian joined Trabzonspor from SC Bastia in August 2025 and has logged 2,401 minutes across 31 matches, scoring twice and supplying four assists.
He made his senior debut for Ivory Coast last November, then earned a place in Emerse Faé’s World Cup squad. He came off the bench in the 1-0 win over Ecuador before playing the full 90 minutes in the defeat to Germany.
The report also states his skill set is considered well suited to the Premier League, with Sunderland, Fulham and Brentford making him a priority midfield target. Any summer move would be costly, as Trabzonspor are understood to want about £20 million and he is contracted until 2030, leaving the club in a strong position.
