João Silva hauled Tondela level in the 80th minute with a close-range header, earning a 1-1 draw against Alverca.

Introduced after the hour, Silva immediately offered a presence in the box, attacking set pieces and occupying centre-backs to give Tondela a different target.

He then timed his run to the back post to meet a corner, guiding in after Brayan Medina's knock-back to the top left from yards out. It was a sharp, striker's finish under pressure.

Silva finished with one attempt and one goal, plus a perfect 21 of 21 passes and four successful balls in the final third, a tidy cameo that kept Tondela's attacks connected.
