Supercoppa Italiana between Inter and Lazio confirmed for 22 December at San Siro | OneFootball

Lega Serie A confirmed the Supercoppa Italiana will be played at San Siro on Tuesday 22 December, with Inter facing Lazio.

The trophy has traditionally been a pre-season meeting of the Scudetto winners and the Coppa Italia holders.

In recent seasons it moved largely abroad and adopted a Final Four, with semi-finals that included the runners-up from both competitions.

With Saudi Arabia not hosting this season, the league has brought the event back to home soil as a single match.

Inter won both trophies, so Coppa Italia runners-up Lazio provide the opposition. Kick-off is 20.00 UK time, 21.00 local.

If the scores are level after 90 minutes, there will be extra time and, if required, a penalty shoot-out.

For sponsorship reasons it will be officially titled the EA Sports FC Supercup 2026/27.
