Terem Moffi reports for Nice restart while a move remains pending | OneFootball

Terem Moffi has returned from his loan at Porto and will report to Nice’s pre-season on Wednesday morning, with a move elsewhere still pending.

According to L'Équipe, the Nigeria striker is due at the restart for routine medical tests after a half-season in Portugal in which he won the league, though Porto did not exercise a buy option set at €eight million.

He is on Nice’s departures list, reflecting last season’s issues with sections of the support and his sizeable wages, as the club seeks to lighten its wage bill.

While an exit route is sought for the 27-year-old, who remains under contract until June 2027, the club are not considering placing him in a "loft".

He is expected to prepare for the new campaign under standard conditions in the meantime.
