The most valuable player at each Championship side this season
The January transfer window is quickly approaching and all 24 Championship sides will be planning their business ahead of the new year.
It could be a crucial period for clubs at both ends of the table, as managers look to improve their squads for the second half of the campaign.
The January window also has the potential to see some significant player sales involving Championship sides.
Here we look at the most valuable player at each side in the division, ranked from lowest to highest (NOTE: all figures used from Transfermarkt - The figures stated have been converted from euros to GBP)

Sheffield Wednesday are almost certain to be relegated to League One this season, but raising funds from player sales could still be important financially.
Max Lowe is the most valuable member of the first team squad at a figure of £1.9 million.

Oxford United will be looking to January to improve Gary Rowett’s side in order to avoid relegation.
Summer signing Brian De Keersmaecker has been a key part of the team since arriving in the summer, and his valuation of £2.6 million reflects that.

Portsmouth are in their second season back in the Championship, with John Mousinho likely looking towards the January market in a bid to maintain their status at this level.
Callum Lang returning from injury in late November could prove crucial, as he has earned the highest valuation, £2.6 million of the permanent members of the squad at Fratton Park.

Todd Cantwell is the most valuable member of Valerien Ismael’s squad, with the playmaker rated at the £3 million mark.

Charlie Kelman signed for Charlton Athletic in the summer following their promotion and his impressive stint on loan at Leyton Orient.
The forward has also earned a valuation of £3 million, which has Charlton ranked 20th in the division.

Preston have made a strong start to the season under Paul Heckingbottom and Jordan Storey has been a key figure in that positive form.
The 28-year-old has the highest valuation of any permanent member in the squad at a figure of £3.3 million.

Ryan Giles has been back to his best form under Sergej Jakirovic so far this season, and that is reflected in him being Hull City’s most valuable player at £3.9 million.

Ilias Chair has been crucial for QPR in recent years, making himself a fan favourite with his standout performances.
This is why he is the Hoops’ most valuable first team squad member at £5.2 million.

Alfie Doughty suffered from injury issues after signing for Millwall in the summer from Luton Town, meaning fans haven’t quite seen the best of him so far.
But his performances for the Hatters mean he is rated at £5.7 million, more than any other player in Alex Neil’s side.

Patrick Agyemang made the move to Derby County in the summer from MLS, and he has settled in well to life in English football so far.
The forward is valued higher than any other member of the Rams’ first team at £6.1 million.
