What do you predict with the final 2024/25 Premier League table?
Less than five weeks of the season still left to go.
In 32 days time Newcastle United will conclude their season with a home game against Everton on Sunday 25 May with a 4pm kick-off.
Not the best of weekends for Newcastle United.
Losing at Aston Villa, whilst all of the rest of the top seven won their Premier League matches, including the other four clubs (Forest, Man City, Chelsea, Villa) that are competing with United for three remaining Champions League places.
Due to their involvement in the FA Cup semi-finals this coming weekend, Manchester City played Aston Villa on Tuesday night at the Etihad.
Deep into added time the match set to end 1-1, before Man City found a winner with only around a minute to go of injury time.
So this is how the Premier League table now currently (morning of Wednesday 23 April 2025) looks after that Manchester City 2 Aston Villa 1 result:
Only four points separating third down to seventh, but now Forest, Newcastle United and Chelsea having a game in hand on Man City and Villa.
When it comes to predicting what that final Premier League table will look like after the 38th round of fixtures in May 2025, Opta have done some updated analysis after last night’s match, reassessing how things are forecasted to turn out.

In the near future though and most importantly of course, will be Saturday at St James’ Park and Newcastle United needing to make it seven wins in their last eight matches when they face Ipswich, including six wins from seven in the Premier League.
