It's the third storm of the 2025/26 storm cycle, after Amy in October and Bram in early December of last year, and multiple weather warnings of different severity have been issued between now and Tuesday evening.

With a full slate of League One and League Two games going ahead on Tuesday night, there may be some that will fall victim to the conditions and have to be rearranged for a future date towards the end of the campaign.

The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for heavy rain from 5pm on Monday, 26 January until 9am on Tuesday, 27 January, with 30-50mm of rainfall expected widely, and 60-80mm across higher ground.

The image used in the report depicts Plymouth and Exeter as places of interest, and with Plymouth Argyle set to host Mansfield Town on Tuesday night, it may be worth checking to see what the state of play is there before starting the nine-hour round trip to Home Park.

Additionally, Cheltenham Town hosts Gillingham in League Two, and while slightly more northern than the Devon-based third-tier side, it could also see their game come at risk due to the weather.

This Yellow rain warning is less severe, but still covers south-west England, alongside Wales and parts of central southern England. 20–30 mm of rainfall is likely to occur between 1pm on Monday, 26 January to 10am on Tuesday, 27 January.

The games in the south-west have been detailed above. Games in Wales across the gameweek include Cardiff City vs Barnsley in League One and Newport County vs Accrington Stanley in League Two.

Central Southern England includes Reading, who are at home against Exeter City.

While there aren't any games taking place in London in League One this Tuesday, games in League Two include Barnet vs Tranmere Rovers and Bromley vs Crewe Alexandra.

In terms of South-East England, Wycombe Wanderers are set to take on Wigan Athletic in Buckinghamshire, while in Hertfordshire, Stevenage host Peterborough United.

And in the League Two games set to take place in the south-east, MK Dons host Bristol Rovers in Buckinghamshire, and Grimsby Town are set to travel to Essex to take on Colchester United.
