Serie A giants Juventus remain very much at risk of missing out on Champions League football this season. If that happens, they run a serious risk of losing key players.
Gazzetta dello Sport – via Calciomercato, note that a major sale will become a necessity if the Old Lady finish outside the top four. This is due to financial reasons and a decision will be made about this in the summer. Two factors will decide this – the complexity of signing a replacement and the capital gain the sale will guarantee.
As of now, Khephren Thuram is a key candidate to leave. There have been suggestions of Premier League interest from the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United. A deal could cost over €40m, if the Frenchman having joined from Nice for €20m two years ago.
Even Pierre Kalulu is of interest from English clubs and he too can leave. Juve paid €14m to rope him in from Milan and that is why he wouldn’t command a massive fee either.
The third candidate is Bremer, who has constantly struggled with injuries despite his imposing performances. His current deal in Turin runs out in 2028 and this can lead to a potential exit this summer, with his value likely to go down after that.
