Trabzonspor ‘to push’ Al Hilal on Nunez move after Salah backs deal | OneFootball

Trabzonspor are pushing for another marquee addition after signing Mohamed Salah, moving for Al Hilal striker Darwin Nunez to reinforce their attack, with a loan also under consideration.

HT Spor reports that the club have offered Al Hilal eight million euros per year, pledging to cover 40% of Nunez's salary, with the Uruguayan earning about 20 million euros. The forward wants to leave, seeking a fresh start to revive his form.

The proposal is now with the player and Al Hilal. The Saudi club are pushing for a higher figure, so Trabzonspor aim to accelerate talks and are targeting Nunez's arrival in Trabzon next week.

Club chiefs also consulted Salah about the move, and the Egyptian endorsed the pursuit.

Vice-president Ibrahim Sahinkaya has arranged talks with Al Hilal officials this week, and will travel to Saudi Arabia to firm up the finances and try to secure the striker's release.

Nunez, 27, made 24 appearances for Al Hilal last season, scoring nine goals and supplying five assists.
