Daniel Peretz is currently not getting a chance at Hamburger SV, which is why FC Bayern are looking for a new club for him and may have found one in France

Daniel Peretz has not made a single appearance for Hamburger SV in the Bundesliga, as Daniel Heuer Fernandes is the number one under coach Merlin Polzin. The Bayern keeper has only made two appearances for HSV in the DFB Cup – far too few for the Israeli international goalkeeper, who had actually hoped to recommend himself for higher duties on loan

That is why the Bayern bosses are now working hard to find a solution. According to information from BILD, Stade Brest have expressed an interest in the 25-year-old. Peretz had also previously been linked with English second division club FC Southampton

First and foremost, it will be important for Peretz to play consistently, and as this has not yet changed, a loan break is a distinct possibility.

Peretz recently explained his view of the situation to Sport BILD: „I came to HSV to play as many games as possible. I’m now accepting the situation, looking from game to game, training hard and trying to give my best every day – to make it as difficult as possible for the coaching team,“ said the keeper.

Although Peretz accepts his place as number two behind Heuer Fernandes, satisfaction is logically a different matter: „Of course I’m not happy about it,“ he made clear, because „my goal is still to play every game.“ He will probably no longer be able to do that in Hamburg. Whether he continues in Brest or at another club will probably become clear in the winter transfer window.
