Travel warning for commuters as Aston Villa victory parade set for Birmingham | OneFootball

Commuters in Birmingham have been warned of disruption this evening as Aston Villa stage a victory parade following their historic win.

West Midlands Railway said in a post that trains serving Birmingham New Street and Birmingham Snow Hill may be busier between 16:00 and 19:00.

Passengers were advised to check journeys before travelling via https://orlo.uk/dRvb3.

Villa beat Freiburg 3-0 in Istanbul on 20 May, with Youri Tielemans, Emi Buendia and Morgan Rogers on the scoresheet.

It was the club’s first European title since 1982, and a record-extending fifth triumph in the competition for manager Unai Emery.
