The Premier League have confirmed changes to two Leeds United fixtures in August and September, with the first two home games moved after television selection and the Newcastle United date still potentially shifting.
Leeds will host Brentford at Elland Road at 2pm on Sunday 30 August, live on Sky Sports, in their second match of the 2026/27 campaign.
That game coincides with Leeds Festival at Bramham Park, which runs from Thursday 27 to Sunday 30 August. It is one of three fixtures in that slot on Sky Sports, alongside Chelsea vs Brighton and Sunderland vs Fulham.
September begins with a trip to Brighton and Hove Albion, which, like Nottingham Forest on the opening weekend, remains a Saturday 3pm kick-off. Daniel Farke’s side then host Newcastle at 8pm on Monday 14 September, the first Elland Road match under the lights this season, selected by Sky Sports.
That date and time could still change. If either club reach the Carabao Cup third round and are drawn against a Champions League opponent, the league fixture would move back to a 12.30pm kick-off on Saturday 12 September. Five Premier League teams will compete in Europe’s top competition.
The Carabao Cup second round, when Leeds enter, is scheduled for the week commencing 24 August. With the draw likely to follow those ties, any revision to the Newcastle game could come with roughly two weeks’ notice.
