Victor Froholdt avoids serious injury after right foot blow | OneFootball

Victor Froholdt has not suffered a serious injury after finishing the match in Plzen limping and in significant pain in his right foot following a collision as he tried to shoot.

According to O Jogo, there was concern on Thursday night, but the Danish midfielder did not undergo the MRI that had been planned and mentioned by Francesco Farioli after the game.

He completed a light gym session at CTFD Jorge Costa and received treatment for a contusion to his right foot. The issue was essentially a heavy blow inflicted by defender Doski.

Even so, it is not certain the number eight will feature on Monday against Gil Vicente, though there is no cause for alarm.

Porto will assess the situation as it evolves and see how Froholdt responds and tolerates the pain.
