Chelsea have pulled it back to 2-1 at Stamford Bridge.
It was looking pretty ugly for the Blues after Robert Sanchez’s latest mistake at the start of the second half put them 2-0 down. But a goal pretty much from nowhere has changed things.
A blocked ball flew to Joao Pedro on the edge of the Arsenal area, and after a nice chest control he played in Pedro Neto down the right. The winger has been heavily criticised for his terrible crossing in recent weeks but here he dug out one perfectly. It flew to the far post where recently arrived sub Alejandro Garnacho was waiting.
He had a tricky job to control the ball and knock it in before a defender arrived, but he did just that. Game on, boys!

Chelsea needed this. They REALLY needed this. They were 2-0 down at home and Arsenal were putting the pressure on. This looked more likely to end 4-0 than 2-2. But now things have changed a little, and hopefully an injection of confidence can serve just as much as the goal in turning the tide.
Liam Rosenior is without a lot of senior players for this game, and there’s some debate over who will have been behind that decision. The coach knew what he was getting himself into, given what happened with Enzo Maresca before him.
The team news for tonight had a lot of other interesting things to note – and may be a very bad sign for this Sunday if some of the missing players have something more serious. It seems Rosenior is being cautious, which is no bad thing.
