Tom Heaton has signed a new Manchester United deal as Midlands clubs shape early summer moves. Villa and Tottenham have been linked with Summerville, West Brom are eyeing Bamba Dieng, and Bromley are linked with Daniel Kanu.
TeamTalk reports AC Milan have become serious contenders to sign West Ham winger Crysencio Summerville. The 24-year-old posted seven goals and five assists in 34 games and is set to leave after relegation. West Ham are expected to seek about £35 million.
United’s third-choice goalkeeper, 40, has agreed a one-year contract. He joined Villa from Burnley for £8 million in 2019, then moved to Old Trafford on a free two years later. He has three England caps and three first-team appearances since 2021.
Bromley are among the League One clubs linked with 21-year-old Daniel Kanu after his prolific Walsall loan. He scored 18 in all competitions last term. It is not yet clear whether any move would be permanent or another loan.
Albion and Queens Park Rangers have been credited with interest in Senegal striker Bamba Dieng, 26, now a free agent after leaving Lorient. He hit 14 in 21 last season, including nine in 18 Ligue 1 games, and has six in 26 for Senegal.
West Brom aim to bolster their attack after Daryl Dike’s release. Josh Maja has been offered a contract and his future remains uncertain, while Aune Heggebo stays under contract.
