According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, Villarreal’s valuation has climbed to €447.5 million in the LaLiga Stock Market 2026 report, compiled by Intelligence 2P for 2Playbook. The figure reflects a 32.1% rise year on year.
It far outstrips the LaLiga average, with the competition’s clubs collectively up 13% to more than €20.902 billion. The jump strengthens the club’s economic position at the top level.
This is not only about one good season. It stems from sustained progress, European participation, institutional stability, a clear sporting structure and a brand gaining influence abroad.
A key driver is the club’s return to the Champions League, which lifts visibility and revenue potential. It also makes Villarreal more attractive to sponsors, international operators and audiovisual markets.
The Estadio de la Cerámica is the other pillar. Modern and distinctive, it is built to generate income, strengthening the club’s brand image and increasing its asset value.
All this is even more striking given the club’s roots. A city of just over 50,000 inhabitants underpins a project that competes in the elite, plays the Champions League and nears €450 million in valuation.
