Vitor Pereira has kept tight-lipped on Morgan Gibbs-White’s involvement for Nottingham Forest in this evening’s Europa League semi-final second leg at Villa Park.

"He's here to help us. We'll see," Pereira said, speaking to TNT Sports. "We will see. We will see what happens in the game."

Gibbs-White sustained a nasty facial injury in Monday’s 3-1 Premier League win at Chelsea, leaving him bloodied and needing stitches. On Wednesday Pereira indicated a mask had been fitted, and he wore protective headgear in the warm-up.

Forest hold a 1-0 advantage from last week’s first leg at the City Ground, secured by Chris Wood’s penalty, though Pereira has told his players that means nothing tonight.

They are 10 unbeaten in all competitions and near safety, and would relish a shot at silverware, while recognising how tough it will be in the West Midlands.

Forest line up with Ortega in goal, Williams, Milenkovic, Morato and Jair across the back, Dominguez and Anderson in midfield, Hutchinson, Jesus and McAtee supporting Wood. Subs are Sels, Willows, Murillo, Sangare, Gibbs-White, Ndoye, Lucca, Yates, Bakwa, Whitehall, Sinclair and Hanks.
