Watch: Another Barcelona star reports for pre-season training early | OneFootball

Footage stemming from the training base of La Liga giants Barcelona has piqued attentions across the club’s fanbase on Wednesday.

This comes after a leading member of the Blaugrana’s backline was spotted reporting for pre-season training five days early.

The player in question? Ronald Araújo.

Defender Araújo is for his part of course fresh off a difficult season all told in 2024/25.

Condemned to the sidelines for the opening half of the term whilst recovering from injury, the Uruguayan was then singled out for criticism for the level of his performances upon returning to fitness.

Araújo, in turn, is evidently eager to put things right over the season ahead.

As showcased in the footage below, the 26-year-old was a surprise arrival at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on Wednesday morning.

As much came with a view to kickstarting his preparations for 2025/26 early, with Hansi Flick’s squad not due to report for pre-season duty until this coming Sunday.
