A member of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona was recently afforded a chance to show off his acting skills, by way of an appearance in an advert for the new Spider-Man film.

The Blaugrana star in question? Joan García.

Goalkeeper Joan is for his part of course fresh off a starring debut campaign plying his trade in the colours of Barcelona.

After swapping Catalan rivals Espanyol for the Blaugrana, the 25-year-old built on his reputation as one of the standout shot-stoppers in not only Spain, but all of Europe.

And such exploits evidently did not go unnoticed on a global scale…

As alluded to above, Joan recently played a leading role in an advert for ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’, the blockbuster hit set to be released next month.

The Spaniard is the recipient of a message from none other than Tom Holland, after showing off his talents between the posts with a special new pair of gloves.
