The crowd in attendance at La Liga giants Barcelona’s meeting with Vissel Kobe were keen to make clear their appreciation for the talents of one member of the Blaugrana’s frontline.

The player in question? Lamine Yamal.

Hansi Flick’s Barca are of course currently locked in action.

In the first fixture of the club’s pre-season tour of Asia, the Spanish champions have made the trip to the city of Kobe, for a meeting with Japanese outfit Vissel Kobe.

Flick and his coaching staff opted for a strong starting XI for the clash, featuring the likes of Pedri, Raphinha, and new signing Joan García.

As alluded to above, though, it was the aforementioned Lamine who came in for the biggest ovation of the day on Sunday.

Upon the young winger’s name being read aloud at Noevir Stadium Kobe, the fans in attendance came together for a booming round of cheers and applause:
