Werder set for two Friday nights under the floodlights

DFL confirms time slots for matchdays 6 to 12

At midday on Thursday, the German Football League (DFL) confirmed the time slots of a number of upcoming Bundesliga games (matchday 6 to matchday 12). While SVW’s matches against St. Pauli, Heidenheim, Mainz and Köln have all been scheduled for a Saturday afternoon kick-off, the Green-Whites will host Union Berlin and VfL Wolfsburg under the floodlights for a pair of Friday-night kick-offs. Horst Steffen’s side will be playing on a Sunday for the trip to RB Leipzig, with another afternoon game scheduled.
