West Brom face a reset at The Hawthorns after a miserable 2025/26, with six senior players out of contract at the end of June.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, Ian Pearce, Dominic Price and head coach James Morrison will decide who stays.

Karlan Grant’s six years at The Hawthorns have been mixed, though he remained effective and was missed after a January injury. With finances in mind, and turning 29 in September, it could be time to move on. Verdict: Leave.

Daryl Dike’s four and a half years have been ravaged by injury, despite a late return under Morrison. Reliability remains a concern, so an exit looks likely. Verdict: Leave.

A calf issue curtailed Jed Wallace’s strong form under Morrison. He is an exemplary captain and there remains a case to keep him. Verdict: Leave.

Josh Maja’s three years have also been marred by injuries. He shone for six months early in 2024/25 and could play top flight when fit, but consistency has not returned. Verdict: Leave.

Back-up keeper Joe Wildsmith has been on loan at play-off outfit Middlesbrough since January without playing. He earlier replaced Josh Griffiths under Ryan Mason but could not take the chance. Verdict: Leave.

Max O’Leary impressed after arriving from Bristol City in January to steady the goalkeeping department. Albion will still scour for a first-choice keeper while considering him, and the view is he has earned a deal, though he may seek stronger assurances. Verdict: Stay.
