Flamengo’s first fixture after the World Cup will be away to Chapecoense on 22 July in the Campeonato Brasileiro’s 19th round, with the CBF yet to confirm the kick-off time at Arena Condá.
As reported by Coluna Do Fla, the squad have two weeks off, then return to training at Ninho do Urubu on 19 June before flying to Portugal on 28 June for a trio of friendlies.
In Portugal, Flamengo are set to face Falkirk (ESC) on 3 or 4 July, Birmingham (ING) on 8 July and Benfica (POR) on 11 July, then head home on 12 July.
The tour will proceed without players called up for the World Cup, so Leonardo Jardim will bolster the group with academy youngsters.
Flamengo’s most recent outing came on Saturday 30th, a 3-0 win over Coritiba. After the Chapecoense trip, they face São Paulo on 26 July for round 20 of the Brasileirão.
