Will Still in talks over return to French football | OneFootball

Former Southampton manager Will Still is reportedly in talks over a return to Ligue 1 following an ill-fated spell in England.

The Belgian earned his reputation as a coach while in charge of Stade de Reims before taking over at Lens. Still was then appointed Southampton manager for the start of the 2025/26 season but was sacked in November after picking up just two league wins.

However, Still is now close to returning to management in France. According to French outlet RMC Sport, the 33-year-old is in talks with FC Lorient over taking over for next season.

Lorient are currently ninth in Ligue 1 this season with one game remaining and could finish as high as eighth although the chances are slim and rely on Strasbourg losing their two final remaining fixtures.
