Wolves 1877 Trust welcomes new head coach Cesar Peixoto | OneFootball

Wolves 1877 Trust has welcomed Cesar Peixoto as the club’s new head coach.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, he replaces Rob Edwards on a two-year contract agreed on Sunday, 15 June, subject to a work permit.

He arrives tasked with steering Wolves back to the Premier League after relegation to the Championship.

The Trust said supporters would help Peixoto and his staff settle and succeed, with chairman Keith Bickley sending best wishes on behalf of members and praising the fanbase’s loyalty and passion.

Peixoto recently led Portuguese side Gil Vicente to sixth in the Primeira Liga.

In his first interview as head coach, the 46-year-old vowed to build a team supporters can be proud of and to do everything possible to return to the top flight.
