Wolves have re-signed Raul Jimenez on a two-year contract, with an option for a further 12 months, following his departure from Fulham at the end of his deal.
ExpressAndStar.com reports that the club’s greatest Premier League striker returns after three years away, aiming to help a promotion push back to the top flight and add to his 57 goals in 166 Wolves appearances.
He will reclaim the number nine shirt, and Wolves said Adam Armstrong was happy to give it up on learning of Jimenez’s return.
Chairman Nathan Shi said bringing Jimenez back is a special moment for the club and its supporters. He described the forward as one of the finest to wear gold and black and someone who reflects Wolves’ values.
Shi added that Jimenez delivered unforgettable contributions and helped shape recent memories, and that he remains a hero to fans. He said the club are delighted to welcome him back to Molineux during their 150th anniversary year.
