Raul Jimenez has returned to Wolves on a two-year contract, with an option for a further 12 months, after leaving Fulham at the end of his deal, ExpressAndStar.com reports.

The fan favourite comes back three years after his departure, aiming to help the club win promotion to the top flight and to add to his 57 goals in 166 Wolves appearances.

He will again wear number nine, with Adam Armstrong giving up the shirt upon news of Jimenez’s return.

He is described as the club’s greatest Premier League striker.

His comeback has been hailed as a special moment for the club, with his contributions, bond with supporters and alignment with Wolves’ values highlighted, and a warm return to Molineux noted during the club’s 150th anniversary year.
