Wolves have finalised their pre-season programme by adding a late friendly to the calendar. According to ExpressAndStar.com, the schedule is now set for July and early August.
Players and staff return to Compton in early July for testing and training, minus those still at the World Cup. The squad will then head to Portugal for a warm weather camp, with no public matches scheduled.
The first game with supporters will be at non-league Maidenhead United on Wednesday, July 22, kick-off 7.30pm. The fixture stems from an agreement made in 2024 when Max Kilman joined West Ham in a £40 million move. There will be no Molineux friendly this summer.
Wolves then face Real Sociedad at 5pm on Saturday, July 25 at Walsall's Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium. The date was brought forward from Tuesday, July 28 after Villa, who are also due to meet the Basque club, rearranged because of changes to their planned Asia tour.
Cesar Peixoto's side visit Doncaster at the Eco-Power Stadium on Wednesday, July 29, with a 7.30pm kick-off, after the Yorkshire club finished 14th in League One last season.
Their final summer outing with fans will be away to SC Heerenveen on Saturday, August 1 at 3pm in the Netherlands. That comes a week before the Carabao Cup first round on the weekend of August 7.
Wolves are ball 32 in the northern section of Thursday's draw at 4.30pm. The full Championship fixture list will also be released on Thursday at midday.
